Embodying Simone's soul and embedded in her roots, this work is an investigation on Manet's famous work, Olympia (1863). Olympia's Oasis is filled with poignant nuance and symbolism, a reclamation of African artifacts and an emblem of Black love. Olympia's Oasis is one of Simone's most detailed works yet! Completed solely with the punch-needle, a labour of LOVE.
